Dark Horse Chiropractic and Performance strives to deliver the highest quality of care in addition to being transparent with expectations with treatment, as well as billing.
With that being said, Insurance companies control what treatments get reimbursed and often times denies other modalities or active therapies that are imperative to include in our treatment plans. Insurance should not be the barrier to the care you need. Patients deserve much better!
Often times these denials by insurance companies lead to bills in the mail months later and can be frustrating.

While we understand the importance of intentional chiropractic adjustments, often times patients need more to move the needle.
Our visits are longer than the typical 5-10 minute or “rack n crack” chiropractic visit. This allows for the doctor to be more thorough if needed, while also making sure that the patient concerns are being heard.
This time also allows for enough time for effective in office exercise. This is a performance based clinic where exercise and function are at the forefront. Expect to break a sweat at some point!

Often times patients are told to just “stretch more”, “do more foam rolling” or “get a massage” in order to be in less pain or have “less tight" musculature. These recommendations are often very vague and lack any sort of measurable metric to track progress.
For us, exercise prescription is also more than just endless banded drills, clamshells and bird-dogs for the entirety of the treatment plan.
Dark Horse Chiropractic and Performance understands the importance of meeting patients where they are at, while also prescribing progressive exercise that keeps the needle moving forward, with measurable metrics outside of just pain. We believe the basics are king and are incredibly effective when progressed and regressed appropriately.
